My thanks to Pilgrim Hall, to all the folks who turned out for my ‘speak and read’ on “Suosso’s Lane” last night, and to director Donna Curtin who gave me a spot in the museum’s busy fall program schedule.

Once again I left with knowing more about the history of the world of my book — the real Suosso’s Lane back in 1920 and as it is today — than I did when I came in. And I was cheered by the response of interested readers and history lovers, who pretty much bought out my stock of paperbacks.
