Sacco-Vanzetti Memorial Plaque Needs a Place in the Sun
A committee is seeking to place the Sacco-Vanzetti Memorial Plaque in a prominent public place. Rejected for decades by state governors and Boston mayors, the plaque was donated to the Boston Public Library, where it now languishes on an upper floor. Advocates want to see it displayed on Hanover Street in Boston’s North End….
